Aishwarya Rai Shines In Gold At Cannes
Seems like Aishwarya Rai Bachahan has decided to make her presence felt in every right way at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2013. Aishwarya Rai attended the amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) 20th Annual Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Cannes 2013 yesterday. She looked drop dead gorgeous in a shimmery golden saree. The amfAR gala at Cannes this year is a tribute to Elizabeth Taylor with a gold themed fashion show.
The amfAR gala at Cannes was curated by Carine Roitfeld and the gold themed fashion show had collection of Indian designer, Tarun Tahiliani. All these outfits from the show will be auctioned later.
Aishwarya Rai followed the dress code and wore a golden coloured designer saree. She looked stunning at the gala. The Tarun Tahiliani designed gold saree gave a glimpse of his gold collection that was shown at the "Ultimate Gold Collection Fashion Show".
The golden saree with embroidery at bottom was teamed up with a matching golden collar neck blouse. Black nails, dangling gold earrings, golden clutch and a top knot hair bun completed the look. This top knot bun has been carried by Aishwarya for the second time at Cannes 2013. Her last appearance in a teal gown was also completed with a sculptured top knot bun.
Aishwarya looked breathtaking and has also lost weight. When compared to her Cannes 2012 appearances, we just fell in love with her new avatar and fashionable outfits at Cannes 2013. Where other Bollywood celebrities have made fashion blunders this year, Ash has been remarkable at Cannes 2013! The gold look marks the end of Aishwarya Rai's Cannes 2013 journey. The Tarun Tahiliani designed gold saree gave a glimpse of his gold collection that was shown at the "Ultimate Gold Collection Fashion Show" at amFAR gala.
