Licorice root is an all rounder herb that is called Muleti and Jetimadhu in India. It can be used to improve your hair, skin and even your health! Since this herb is very potent, it is usually used in small quantities. The maximum effects of licorice root is often seen when combined with other beneficial ingredients.

DIY Licorice Root Face Pack 1- To Lighten and Cool Your Skin - This simple and easy to make face pack is ideal for anyone who wants to get rid of facial pigmentation. Both cucumbers and licorice are known for their natural skin lightening properties. In addition, cucumbers have a cooling and hydrating effect on your face.
Ingredients
Paste of 1 cucumber
1/2 teaspoon licorice root powder
Method
Mix the ingredients in a clean bowl. Apply the paste on your face. Leave for 20 minutes. Wash with cool water. Dab your face dry with a soft towel. Repeat once a week

DIY Licorice Root Face Pack 2 - To Ex foliate and Lighten Your Skin- This quick and effective face pack will get rid of the dead cells on your face while lightening it naturally. This pack can be used on your neck and back as well!
Ingredients
1 bowl of plain cooked oats
1/2 teaspoon of licorice root powder
1/2 teaspoon honey
Method
Mix the cooked oats with the other ingredients in a clean bowl. Apply the pack on the desired area. Leave the pack on for 15 minutes. Remove the pack using a towel that has been dipped in warm water. Repeat once a week.

DIY Licorice Root Face Pack 3 - To Hydrate and Moisturise Your Skin - This hydrating face pack is created using powerful ingredients. Each ingredient has an important role to play. Keep in mind, that this mask lightens your skin as well, thus don't leave it on for more than the mentioned time.
Ingredients
2 tablespoon fuller's clay (Multani Mitti)
1/2 teaspoon licorice root powder
1/2 teaspoon of lemon peel powder
1/4 teaspoon of green tea extract powder
1/4 teaspoon of vitamin C powder
3 drops of lemon essential oil
1/2 teaspoon of honey
Method
Mix all the ingredients in a clean bowl. Apply a thin layer of this mask on your face and neck. Leave the mask on your face for 15 minutes. Do not rinse. Dip a soft wash cloth into a bowl of warm water. Use the damp wash cloth to gently wipe off the mask. Repeat once a week.
