The 7 Best Hairstyles From New York Fashion Week
The currently ongoing New York Fashion Week is a semi-annual event that is held every year in the months of February and September. It is one of the four major fashion events that happen in the world, the other three being held in London, Paris and Milan.
But, apart from upcoming fashion trends, a lot of new hair and makeup trends are also spotted on the runway . So, we've listed some of the best hairstyles from the New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
The NYFW showcases new international fashion trends to buyers, the press and the public.
This fashion week was initially called the "press week" and made American fashion reach out to a global audience due to huge coverage by the magazine "Vogue", which earlier used to cater only to a French audience, covering French designs.
It was created by Eleanor Lambert, the press director of the American fashion industry, in 1943.
The New York Fashion Week is one of the biggest fashion events that takes place in the world, and press from all over the world cover even the tiniest of aspects from the show.
So, have a look at some of the best hairstyles that we think rocked from the NYFW this year!

1. Victoria Beckham:
Victoria Beckham's show had hairstyle that looked sleek and polished, pretty much inspired by her own hairstyle in real life. This is the easiest style to do without doubt. It's basically poker straight hair with added shine.

2. Carolina Herrera:
These looks are really minimalistic and yet sophisticated. Twisted minimalism is the key for these. You would need a straightener and lots of hairspray to do these.

3. Custo Barcelona:
Sculpted yet minimalistic, these hairstyles at the NYFW are really simple looking and yet structured well.

4. TIBI:
The vibe given is grown up, yet girly. They have a lot of ponytails that they've tied with things like belts to make them look structured and formal. It is the classic low ponytail with added accessories.

5. Creatures of Comfort:
This hairstyle looks so sophisticated and complicated, but all you have to do for this is to braid your hair and then, fold up the braid. Tie up the entire thing with the ends of the braid.

6. Josie Natori:
Basic ponytail that looks undone and classic is what this New York Fashion Week hairstyle is all about. Tie your hair in a basic ponytail fashion and then take a section from it to make a loop, then tie the loop.

7. Supima:
Tie your hair in a loose ponytail with a deep side part, and take a section out from the side part. Using this section, wrap your ponytail and set it with a lot of hairspray and that'll give you one of the best hairstyles of NYFW.
