How To Protect Hair During Workouts?

It is not a great idea if you wash hair everyday as it will result in scalp dryness and dandruff. If left otherwise, it may stink and itch. Here are few preventive measures.
Summer Hair Care: Protect Hair During Workouts
1. Style It Up – Pull all your hair up and lock it with an elastic band. This will avoid your hair clinging to sweaty skin. A high pony tail or a bun can secure your hair from getting wet. It will be completely out of your face & neck and will help you workout comfortably. For those locks and stray hair, use pins hair band or gels to protect and be free.
2. Hairstyle Ideas – You can seek a professional help to maintain your hair sweat proof. There are certain hair care products available that can take a good care when you exercise. The easiest would be getting styled, braids (like cornrows), a tight french plait or bob cut (chin length or pixie) can free your from coming in contact with sweat.
3. Keep The Cool Look – Damp hair makes you look hot so style the sweaty hair by blow drying or using gel. This can prevent and postpone your continuous hair wash. A talcum powder can also be used to get rid of the stickiness of hair.
4. Shower Tips – Use a suitable hair conditioner after a shampoo bath or during workout (leave in conditioner), this will prevent dryness and make your hair smell fresh. A good hair oil can replace conditioner once in a while.
Wash you hair bands in mild soap solution so that they don't affect your clean hair. A shower cap can also be used to lock you hair up while working out in your home gym.
