Cool Shower Jelly Soap You Can Make At Home
The average 15 to 30 minutes you spend in your bathroom is probably the only relaxing time you get in a day. Your regular old soap bars just won't do, what you need is something more exotic to energize and pump you up for the day. And what can be better than homemade shower jellies!
Whether you have had a bad day at work or are bogged down with household chores, warm shower pelting down, coupled with relaxing music and rejuvenating 2-minute shower jelly soaps will soothe your sore muscles and instantly perk you up!

Soaps are bad for your skin. Period. It contains synthetic derivatives, artificial fragrance and chemicals, which do more damage than any good.
Soaps kill both the bad and good bacteria. And with no good bacteria forming a protective shield, you are susceptible to contract cold, flu and other contagious diseases.
Soap disrupts the pH balance of your skin, leaving it dry, flaky and irritated.
To avoid this and more, here is an amazing shower jelly recipe that is non-toxic, easy to make and costs almost nothing!
How to make shower jellies at home? Well, read on.
Ingredients
2 small packets of gelatin powder
½ a cup of body wash
3/4th cup of warm water
½ a teaspoon glycerin
2 drops of food colour of your choice (we recommend using multiple hue for that rainbow colour)
20 drops of essential oils of your choice
1 teaspoon of sea salt
How It Works
Step 1

Take a bowl, cut the packets and pour in the gelatin powder. Add warm water. Stir until the gelatin melts and there are no suds.
Step 2

To the mixture, add liquid body wash and glycerin. Keep stirring until all the ingredients blend well.
Step 3

To the solution, add food colour and essential oils. Keep stirring, until the liquid colour changes from translucent to a deep colour when you add in the colour.
Step 4

Mix in the salt to the solution. Keep stirring gently, until the salt dissolves.
Step 5

Pour the mixture, gently, into the mould and place it in the refrigerator to freeze for 3 hours.
Step 6

Remove the mould from the freezer. There, your DIY shower jellies are ready to be used and enjoyed!
