Shardiya Navratri 2023: According to the Hindu calendar, festivals begin as soon as the month of Sawan ends and the very important ones are celebrated from August to November. One festival in particular holds immense significance in the Hindu religion and that is Shardiya Navratri.
Navratri that falls in the month of Ashwin is called Sharadiya Navratri. Different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped for nine days and the festival of Dussehra is celebrated on the tenth day. Let us know Shardiya Navratri dates in detail.

Sharadiya Navratri 2023: Start Date And End Date
Shardiya Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. This year Shardiya Navratri will start on 15 October 2023- 24 October 2023. Pratipada Tithi will start at 11:24 pm on 14 October 2023 and end at 12:24 am on 15 October 2023.
Shardiya Navratri 2023: Kalash Sthapana Time
On the first day of Navratri, a Kalash is set up for Maa Durga, along with which a coconut is also kept. For the next nine days, along with the Akhand Jyot, this Kalash is also kept in front of the idol of Durga. This year, on Pratipada Tithi, the time for establishing Kalash will be from 11:44 am to 12:30 pm.

15 October 2023, Sunday: Ghatasthapana and Maa Shailputri Puja.
16 October 2023, Monday: Goddess Brahmacharini Puja
17 October 2023, Tuesday: Maa Chandraghanta Puja
18 October 2023, Wednesday: Maa Kushmanda Puja
19 October 2023, Thursday: Goddess Skandamata Puja
20 October 2023, Friday: Maa Katyayani Puja
21 October 2023, Saturday: Maa Kalratri Puja
22 October 2023, Sunday: Mahagauri Puja and Durgashtami
23 October 2023, Monday: Mahanavami
24 October 2023, Tuesday: Durga immersion or Visarjan
When Is Dusshera In 2023?
Ashtami of Shardiya Navratri will fall on 22nd October and Mahanavami will be celebrated on 23rd October. Kanya Puja is also performed on both these days. This time the festival of Vijayadashami or Dussehra will be celebrated on 24 October.
