Pradosh Vrat is observed on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha of every month of Hinduism. By observing this fast, the devotees get relief from diseases, defects, and any problems and Lord Shiva gets pleased and always keeps his blessings on the devotees.

This year, in February and Magh, Pradosh Vrat will be observed on 07 February. According to religious beliefs, the person who visits Lord Shiva with an offering in the first quarter of the night of Trayodashi, the blessings of Lord Shiva remain with him throughout his life. Here are some tips and rules for this year's Pradosh fast in the month of Magh.

In Hinduism, Pradosh Vrat has special significance for the worship of Lord Mahadev. Pradosh Vrat is observed on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha of every month. Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Magh month will start on 7th February at 02:02 pm and will end on 8th February at 11:17 am. Trayodashi Tithi will be celebrated on 7th February and the auspicious time of puja will be from 06:05 PM to 08:14 PM on 7th February.

Magh Pradosh Fast Remedies
According to astrology, Lord Mahadev is pleased by worshiping as per the rituals on the day of Pradosh Vrat. Along with this, Ramdoot Hanuman also feels happy. There is also a possibility of reciting special mantras in the worship on this day like - Om Namo Bhagwate Rudray Namah and Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahe Mahadevaya Dhimahi Tanno Rudra: Prachodayat!

This mantra is suitable for Mahadev, the God of Gods and Anjani's son Lord Hanuman, chanting such mantras as "Om Aim Bhreem Hanumate, Shri Ram Dutaay Namah" removes many types of problems.

On the day of Pradosh Vrat, after taking a bath in Brahma Muhurta, clean the temple of Shankar Bhole and first perform Jalabhishek. Then anoint Lord Shiva with Panchamrit by mixing honey, ghee, curd, Ganga water, and milk. Light incense sticks. Offer some Dakshina along with Shree Phal and offer makeup to Goddess Parvati.
