In Hinduism, there is an auspicious time for some festivals every month. According to the Hindu calendar, Ekadashi tithi comes twice a month and Ekadashi fast has a very special significance. Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are worshiped on this day.

According to the Hindu calendar, Ekadashi tithi will start at 8:45 am on 19 February and end at 09:55 am on 20th February. Considering Udaya Tithi, Jaya Ekadashi will be celebrated on Tuesday, 20 February. Ekadashi fast is broken on Dwadashi tithi. Jaya Ekadashi fast can be broken on 21 February between 06:55 am to 09:11 am.
Jaya Ekadashi Puja Vidhi (Worship Method)
According to religious scriptures, one should wake up in the morning and take a bath in Brahma Muhurta on the auspicious time of Jaya Ekadashi. Also, offer water to the Sun God. One should wear yellow clothes after bathing. After this, clean the puja room thoroughly and install the picture or idol of Lord Vishnu.
Offer a garland of yellow flowers to Lord Vishnu and offer flowers and sweets. After this, light a lamp and perform his Aarti, recite Vishnu Aarti and Vishnu Stotra, and also resolve to observe Ekadashi fast. Observe the fast throughout the day and stay awake at night by worshiping Vishnu with a true heart.
