This is an adequate translation of the sense of this Kural, again based on Rajaji's

Of all things confirmed in our experience,
There is nothing more precious than truth.

There are no other virtues that are of greater and more lasting value than truth in enlightened human experience.

The relevant passage of the Bible is as follows:
'He that speaketh the truth sheweth forth righteousness'.
