Only those who realize the perfection, that is God,
Will conquer the delusion of births.
Release from births can come only to those who realize God-head.
The expression “sirappennum semporul" has been variously interpreted by many commentators, but Parimelalagar"s idea is easily the best. After all, none can deny that it is only the contemplation of God, without beginning and end, all – knowing and all-powerful, which will ultimately lead to freedom from the besetting evils of this world.
The relevant teaching of the Gita is as follows:
'Fix thy mind on Me only, place thy intellect in Me; (then) thou shalt no doubt live in Me hereafter" (Gita 12,8)
