The only attachment that will help to sever all other bonds and attachments,
is the attachment to the Lord, who is the boundless source of all things.
God is the creator of all things, and, while loving all his creatures, he is above all attachments. A sincere devotion to Him alone will help towards ultimate deliverance, for the soul is a spark of the Divine, and finds ultimate life only in union with God.
Lord Krishna tells Arjuna in 'Gitopadesh,'
'He who sees Me in all things and sees all things in Me, he never becomes separated from Me, nor do I become separated from him" (Gita 6,30)
And when this happens to a wiseman, that is the end of his many births (Gita 7, 19)
The Parallel message of the 'Bible' is as follows:
'But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you" (Matt 6:33)
The context was when Jesus was preaching non-attachment and the need to eschew wants in life.
