The month of Margashirsha has been dedicated to Lord Krishna according to Hindu scriptures. However, it is Lord Ganesha who is worshipped on every Chaturthi Tithi of this month also. Sankashti Chaturthi is the fourth day during Shukla Paksha of every month.
