Death Secrets Told By Yamraj
Read here the death secrets told by Yamraj.
We all know that we are not immortal and will die one day. In the clock of kaal (death), be it a rich king or a beggar, all share equal position. That is why whenever the topic of death comes up, people become inquisitive to find out everything about death. Here we reveal some deep hidden secrets about death which have been highlighted by the God of Death, Yamraj.

According to ancient scriptures, the secrets about death and soul have been discussed between a child named Nachketa and Yamraj. Here are some of the death secrets told by Yamraj to Nachketa.

Nachketa's Three Wishes
When Nachketa went to meet Yamraj, he asked him to grant three wishes. His first wish was to get his father's love, second to know about agni Vidya, and third wish was about death and aatmagyan (knowledge of the self/soul). Yamraj did not want to fulfill the last wish, but surrendered before the insistent kid. So, Yamraj agreed to reveal the secrets and what happens after death.

Onkar Is Parmatma
According to scriptures, Yamraj revealed that Om (Onkar) is the swaroop of Parmatma. It means in chanting Om, we remember God. He also said that the heart of a human is the place where Brahma resides.

The Soul
Yamraj said that the soul of a being does not die after death. While the body is perishable and it dies one day, the soul is immortal. In short, the body has nothing to do with the soul's destruction. The soul does not take birth or die.

Brahma Roop
It is said that the souls might have to go through many births and deaths. When after the death, a person has finished the cycle of birth and death, he/she gets freedom from the this cycle and thus takes a form which is known as Brahma Roop. This means that he assimilates into God.

The Power Of God
Yamraj even said that those who do not believe in God and are atheists, they search for peace after death. Apparently, their souls keep wandering looking for peace. We get trapped in desires and trudge the path which leads to materialistic pleasures, but once man abandons all forms of desires, he is liberated from the clutches of senses and discovers a state of forever bliss.

This Is Where Spirituality Comes Into Play
That is where spirituality comes into play. It is the peace after death that we aim for when we speak about knowledge of the self.
When one knows that it is the journey of the soul as a part of which we are here on the earth, one becomes humble, natural and helpful. Hence spirituality helps attain the real and positive qualities of the humans which are helpful for the self as well as fellow humans.
