Khushboo Sundar: Lesser Known Facts About South Indian Actress And Politician
Actor-politician Khushboo Sundar from Tamil Nadu has been in the news lately. She has been nominated as a member of the National Commission for Women and currently, is a member of the BJP's national executive committee.
On Twitter, BJP's Tamil Nadu president K. Annamalai congratulated Ms Sundar on behalf of his party members and further said it was a recognition of her relentless pursuit and fight for women's rights.

Khushboo Sundar was born on 29 September 1970 to a Muslim family and she was earlier known as Nakhat Khan.
She hails from Tamil Nadu and in the year 2000, she married director Sundar C. They have two daughters Ananditha and Avanthika. She has three brothers as well.
She's been living in Chennai for the last 28 years and has three brothers all of whom are based out of Chennai.
Sundar does not believe in religion and discrimination and is a self-confessed atheist.
In the early 1980s, she began her career as a child artist and entered the world of showbiz. In 1976, she debuted with 'Raja Nanna Raja', a Kannada film.
She was not credited for her initial two appearances in Bollywood. In 1980, she appeared in the song 'Teri Hai Zameen Tera Aasman' from the film 'Burning Train', followed by 'Thodisi Bewafaii'.
Sundar is known for her role in the movies like 'Laawaris' (1981) and 'Dard ka Rishta' (1982).
She made a mark in Bollywood and created a special place in everyone's hearts. She danced with Javed Jaffrey in the superhit song 'Bol Baby Bol, Mere Sang Dol' in the movie 'Meri Jung'.
In the late 80s and the early 90s, she went on to become the number 1 leading actress in Tamil Cinema. She has also been part of the Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu film industries.
Though her career as a heroine in Hindi films was a disaster, she went on to become the No 1 leading actress of Tamil Cinema in the late 80s' and early 90s'. She has acted in various languages including Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
Khushbu Sundar has won one Kerala State Film Special Mention, three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards, and one Kalaimamani by the Tamil Nadu government.
She landed herself in controversy in 2005 due to a comment she made about premarital sex and AIDS awareness.
