Do Married Men Hide Their Marital Status?
After getting married, we all miss our days of singlehood. It is natural to feel trapped once in a while because of a lifelong commitment. However, men have an innate tendency to hide their marital status when they can afford to do so. Married men are often prone to hiding their marital status when they are in the company of strangers.
This does not mean that all married men cheat or are looking for younger women to date. Sometimes, men skip saying that they are married out of sheer habit. Here are some instances wherein married men try to hide their relationship status.
There are many men who hide their Facebook relationship status purposely. They cannot give a false relationship status because their wives will be at their throat. However, they hide the option of showing relationship status to their friends on Facebook. In this way, they are not lying, but they are also bypassing the truth at least on a social forum.
New Colleagues
Sometimes, when a person moves from one office to another, he can skip telling his new colleagues that he is married. In this way people are free to think what they want. No one really comes forward and asks a new colleague directly is he is married. So, illusion lasts as long as no one specifically finds out the truth. And then there is no no way to actually point fingers at a man for not explicitly saying that he is married.
While Traveling
Suppose you are seated next to a super hot lady in the airplane. Will you or will you not try to hide your wedding band? In a majority of cases, men don't tell their pretty co-passengers that they are bound in holy matrimony. It is not that married men like to cheat whenever they are traveling, it just gives them a feel good factor sometimes.
Hiding Signs Of Marriage
In India, women have many signs of marriage like mangalsutra, sindoor etc. But men are marked only by wedding rings. Many men make excuses and refuse to wear their wedding bands so that they cannot be marked for life!
