'Work'ing it out! - A Guide For Working Couples 1

This may seem to be the everyday situation in a working couple's house, especially in the metros. But what happens when your professional life eats in to your personal time and disturbs the harmony and balance of married life? In that case, do all your marriage vows and commitments go for a toss?
Shaaditimes talks to a few working couples, and finds out ways to strike a perfect work-life balance:
Bring work home!
Though it's said that you should never bring work home, discussing work with your spouse can actually be a stress buster. Taking your partner's inputs will help get a fresh perspective. It would also help you both to communicate and respect each other's deadlines.
TV actress Sai Deodhar says, "Since Shakti and I are in the same profession, we are lucky to spend time together. But tomorrow if we follow different careers it wouldn't mean that we won't spend time together. Your work and time is in your hands and it's up to you to manage it. Also, I don't understand why people say that you shouldn't bring work home. In fact, Shakti and I discuss our work quite often and this is what makes us understand and respect our profession and the commitment that comes along with it." (Sai is married to fellow actor, Shakti Anand.)
