Why Men Like The 'Chase' Better?
It is an eternal rule of nature that men like to chase and women like to play hard before getting in a relationship. However, this tendency of men causes a majority of relationship problems. Men like to chase women, conquer them and then go for another chase. Whereas women want to get chased, bowled over and then settle down with her man. But when it comes to commitment, men shy away and then the situation is reversed.
Women often complain that men prefer and like to chase much better when compared to the actual relationship. Lets find out why men always say 'I like the chase'.
No Rules In A Chase
When we say everything is fair in love and war, we are actually talking about the chase. You can use what ever tactics you want to impress a girl and there is no harm in it. But rules starts taking a toll once the girl enters your life. And men hate rules!
Adrenaline Pump
Most men are adrenaline junkies; they love to get a pump of excitement in their life. And what can be more exciting than chasing a woman? Men gets a huge adrenaline rush from going after a woman and winning her over. But when it comes to commitment, men lose the 'high'.
Ego Boost
We usually think that being chased by a man gives a woman an ego boost. But even the reverse of this is true. Men like to chase because it boosts their ego too. The chasing may not be very self complimenting; but when the girl is won over, it gives the guy a momentary ego high! This is because he was able to successfully complete a chase.
No Responsibilities
Men like the chase better because it involves no responsibilities. When you are trying to impress a girl, you don't have to provide her a home or think about bringing up babies with her. You don't even have to compromise on your life with your friends to attend her sister's birthday party.
Girls Like To Be Chased
When we say that men like to chase, we are telling half of the truth. Men like to chase because women like to be chased. If women don't play hard to get, men would have no chance to pursue them and both would be bored to death.
