Why To Never Give Relationship Advice
If you are in a successful relationship, people start regarding you as some kind of an expert. And thus many people come to you seeking relationship advice. Now you might feel overwhelmed by all the respect and attention you get from people around you. In fact, you might even enjoy being an agony aunt. But in the end, the fact remains that giving relationship advice is a tricky affair.
Just because you are in a successful relationship, it does not mean that your advice will solve the problems of other couples. And giving relationship advice to every Tom, Dick and Harry might actually land you in trouble. Try to restrict the number of people you give advice to or else you will have to be dealing with some relationship problems of your own.

Here are some vital reasons why you should never give relationship advice.
All relationships are different
Every single relationship is unique and thus, every couple has their own unique relationship problems. What you have learned and experienced in your relationship (successful or otherwise) may or may not be applicable to some other relationship. That is why, your advice might actually do more harm that good.
It might not work
In case your relationship advice does not work, you will be held responsible for it. Suppose you tell your friend to spice up her love life with a vacation and she actually breaks up on the holiday, she will blame you for the rest of her life.
One sided story
When someone comes to you for advice, they will tell you in detail about their relationship problems. But you are only hearing one side of the story. You cannot decide what advice to give without hearing both sides of the story.
They need professional advice
Professional help is available for couples who have problems in their relationship. And there are councilors who are equipped to deal with such delicate psychological issues. So why do you want to get your hands dirty.
You have better things to do
If you give good advice to someone and it works, you will become famous as agony aunt. And thus, you will have scores of people pestering you for advice. Seriously, you have better things to do than advising people for free.
These are the reasons why you should never give a relationship advice.
