Women Weight Issues And Men
Women do not like men to give them any tips on how to look after their body, especially when it comes to loosing weight. Women tend to get furious when men talk about the weighing scale. It is just normal for any woman to flare up at this thought.
In an Australian study, it is revealed that a dietary advice by a man had 'little" impact on women, which is true as women give a deaf ear.
According to the research which was conducted by the Australian National University, it showed that women looked at their own views on weight, watching on eatables that are good or bad.
Tegan Cruwys said that, "We found that the women who watched the videos with the woman speaking were far more persuaded by the message."
It is also proved that about 40 percent of women who watched one healthy eating message delivered by a woman clicked on a computer link to find out more information, compared to just eight percent who heard the same message from a man.
Related to the video, Tegan Cruwys said it showed how women could be strongly influenced by their peers towards healthy eating or dangerous dieting, and it underscored the problem posed by highlighting mostly very skinny models in billboards, television and in magazines. She added that " Women don't diet and worry about their weight for men, they worry about it for other women."
