Green Mango Chutney Recipe | Kacche Aam Ki Chutney Recipe | Raw Mango Chutney
Green mango chutney is a tangy and sweet chutney that is prepared mainly during the mango season. Here is a video recipe followed by a step-by-step procedure with images.
Green mango chutney is a summer special that is prepared as a condiment and also as a jam spread. The kacche aam ki chutney is a sweet and sour chutney which is truly delicious and absolutely mouth-watering.
The raw mango chutney is made by cooking grated raw mango with sugar syrup and adding a tinge of cardamom powder to make it flavourful. This delicacy can be a compliment for rice and roti. The mango chutney can also be spread as a jam to make a nice sandwich.
The green mango chutney is a simple recipe that can be prepared in a jiffy and can be preserved for even a month when refrigerated. The shelf-life of the green mango chutney is long if stored in an air-tight container.

GREEN MANGO CHUTNEY VIDEO RECIPE

Serves: 1 bowl

Sugar - 200 g
Raw mango - 1 (200 g)
Water - 1/4th cup
Cardamom - 2 tsp

1. Take a raw mango, peel the skin off.
2. Grate it finely.
3. Add sugar in a heated pan.
4. Immediately, add water.
5. Stir well and allow the sugar to melt.
6. Allow the sugar syrup to cook up to a one-string consistency.
7. Turn off the stove.
8. Add the grated mango into the pan.
9. Add cardamom powder.
10. Mix well & transfer into a bowl or jar.
- 1. You can use jaggery or brown sugar instead of the regular sugar.
- 2. Some raw mango pieces as well can be added along with the grated mango to give it a different texture.
- 3. You can add red chilli powder while making the sugar syrup to give it a spicy touch.

STEP BY STEP - HOW TO MAKE GREEN MANGO CHUTNEY
