How to Avoid Getting Sick When Moving Between Heat and AC
Vitamins That Toddlers Need The Most
A mother is always concerned whether her child is getting sufficient nutrients. During the growing stages of your child's life, if your kid does not receive adequate amount of vitamins, it can lead to many health issues. When a child is breastfed, the baby gets all the nutrients. But when this stops, mothers need to make sure that the baby is given the necessary nutrients.
There are many ways you can make nutrients available for your child. You could get some research done and decide the best food that you can give to your child. You could prepare a chart for a week that will cover all the basic food groups and vitamins.
Foods For Weight Gain In Toddlers
If you are a vegetarian, more care needs to be taken. You need to segregate the vegetables into groups based on the requirement of your child and then give it to them.
A supplement of the vitamins is not advised by the doctors. The best way to give vitamins to your child is to make sure that they receive it naturally. There are specifically a few vitamins that toddlers need while they are growing up. Take a look at the list below:

Vitamin A
Vitamins that toddlers need include Vitamin A. This vitamin not only helps with the normal growth and development of the baby but also helps with the tissue and bone repair. They are a good source for healthy eyes and skin and provide good immune response. There are found in plenty in milk, cheese, eggs, carrots, yam and squash.
Vitamin B
This includes a wide range of vitamins from B2, B3, B6 and B12. These vitamins aid metabolism and provide energy. They are also used to develop a healthy circulatory and nervous system. Meat, chicken, fish, nuts, eggs, milk, cheese, beans and soya beans are good sources of these vitamins.
Vitamin C
This is the vitamin that is used to help repair the red blood cells, bones and tissues. Vitamin C will help to keep their gums healthy and strengthen their blood vessels. This also aids in healing and boosting the immune system, therefore keeping infections at bay. It also helps the body to absorb iron-rich foods.
Vitamin D
Another vitamin that toddlers need is vitamin D to help the body absorb minerals such as calcium, which builds strong teeth and bones. This is needed in reaching growth potential and peak bone mass. They also play an important role in the good health of the immune system, insulin production and regulation of the cell growth. Though dairy products and fish oil are good sources of vitamin D, sunlight is the best sources of this vitamin.
Vitamin E
Toddlers need a healthy amount of Vitamin E in their diet. This vitamin helps to fight germs and boosts the immune system. It also helps in keeping the blood vessels open to help the blood flow freely. The cells of the body work together to perform various functions with Vitamin E. A variety of foods are found rich in Vitamin E. Those are foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.
