Most toddlers have problems with their sleep, they find it difficult to sleep before 11, or they have to be forced to wake up in the morning. Many of them may sleep whenever they travel. Tips to help your toddler sleep better:
1.Make sure that your toddler's nap time is not too close to late evening or just 5-6 hours before bedtime. His nap time should fall between 2 to 4 pm and preferably not more that an hour.
2.Your toddlers afternoon nap time must be followed with a game session, preferably outdoor games or something that involves physical activity. This would make him little tired as night approaches.
3.Keep his sleep time consistent. Do not alter the timings because of family outings or parties at home. Also, keep the room temperature warm, as children need a cozy setting to sleep.
4.A night bath is a great toddler sleeping tip to soothe your child before bedtime. This relaxes his tired muscles and helps him sleep better.
5.We all know that a glass of warm milk is good to induce sleep. However, accompany milk with a banana or peanuts, as these too contribute towards a sound sleep.
6.Complete the bedtime rituals like brushing, potty and changing into pajamas. When this is done on a daily basis, he'll understand the next step he'll have to follow is to get into bed.

10.Make sure your child does not watch television right till bedtime. It is better if his television watching ritual is done before dinner time.
