5 Funny Things Your Toddler Can Talk

5 Funny Toddler Talks:
1. Mam-Mam: When your toddler is just learning to identify objects that are of interest to him or her, water will be among the first things to be named. Many babies refer to water as mam-mam. It is one of those weird associations that have no set logic.
2. Shoo-Shoo: Another concept of vital importance to the baby. How do they express the urge to pee or let mommy know that they have wet themselves? In funny baby talk, taking a leak is 'shoo-shoo' with a swish of the tongue.
3. Potu or Potum or Potty: This is a very standard word that we have adopted from babies. Sometimes children continue to use it long after growing up and going to school. It basically means 'shit'. When your toddler's development is at a stage where he or she needs potty training then you have to resort to this word for explaining to the child this natural phenomenon of passing out waste.
4. Boo-Boo: This expression means different thing to different babies but all use it without exception. It could mean a favourite toy like a dog or a monkey or a feeding bottle or anything else under the sun. It is like a hat that takes the shape of the head it sits on. Each baby to his own.
5. Joo-Joo: When you are teaching your toddler some manners or any manner of discipline, the elusive entity called 'Joo-Joo' could come to your rescue. It is basically a ploy by mothers to instill some fear in the child. Joo-Joo usually has crazy hair like wires, large pointed teeth and bulging red eyes. His physical features can take on any shape depending on the ferocity of the parent's imagination. The baby knows that the parents are not going to harm him or her, so how will you make them obedient? By calling upon Mr Joo-Joo to hand out a just punishment.
Example: “If you don't finish your food Joo-Joo will come and take you away to dark and dingy place and then, lock you up there."
Toddler talk is a turning point that defines an entire phase of toddler development. So take all the broken baby talk seriously to know just how smart your kid has turned out to be.
