It is normal and healthy sigh to gain weight in later stages of pregnancy. Initial stages of pregnancy do not cause a weight gain and you may be having the same weight as before.
How much weight a pregnant woman should gain? There are many causes of weight gain in pregnancy and it's important to note whether your weight gain is healthy or not.
As your pregnancy progresses, the baby starts growing gradually and since that time the weight gain process will begin.
Some pregnant ladies gain weight quickly and others may take time but this is normal as long as your doctor tells everything is fine.

You must ensure that the weight gained by you is a good weight excluding the weight of your baby.
