The clotting time of your blood reduces greatly during pregnancy. This happens as your body prepares to deliver the placenta and ensure that you do not bleed to death.

The pregnancy hormones make the ligaments throughout your body to relax and allow your bones to loosen up. So, your bones are literally held together by your muscles!

You Have More Blood
In your second trimester of pregnancy, your body's blood volume increases to almost double of what it used to be. This is to ensure that your baby gets lots of food on time to grow quickly!

Your Bladder Gets Squashed
Your bladder gets squashed by the pressure of your growing uterus. The evidence of this is that you have to go to the loo every half an hour.

Your Uterus Gets REALLY Stretched
Your uterus is an organ that has an amazing capability to stretch. It stretched from the size of a fist to the size of your full newborn baby. Add some inches for the amniotic fluid as well!
