Lying on the back puts pressure on the spine and the blood circulatory system called, inferior vena cava. Pressure on this part of the body, hinders the blood flow which can put one at the risk of hemorrhoid formations. To keep yourself from lying on your back, place a pillow under your back.
2.Turn To Your Left – Doctors recommend that the best pregnancy sleeping position is lying on the left side. This position promotes blood flow to the baby and also enhances kidney function. Proper working of the kidney is required to prevent excessive swelling of the body during pregnancy. Pressure on the liver can also be ignored by lying on the left. Lying on the felt is a comparatively comfortable pregnancy sleeping position. One can take support of a pillow according to one's convenience. Most women feel that a pillow under their left arm makes it comfortable.

These three sleeping positions will ensure good health to your baby and a good sleep for you. Sleep well.
