Are You Confused Of Pregnancy Period?

'A Baby at Last! The Couples'' Complete Guide to Getting Pregnant" is written by Dr. Zev Rosenwaks and Dr. Marc Goldstein, who are two renowned fertility specialists at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. The book is co-written with Mark Fuerst.
Goldstein and Rosenwaks inform couples to have regular sexual intercourse during the fertile period of the woman. And they advice the couple to reduce smoke, alcohol intake, stress and encourage eating nutritious food as well as moderate physical exercise.
For men, they should avoid from excessive heat and tight-fitting shorts and for women they must limit the consumption of caffeine to keep their body fit
The other significant tip is to stop medications like anabolic steroids which contain testosterone to reduce male fertility and drugs like heroin and cocaine can affect the ovulation. Some drugs which are for hair growth, hypertension and Crohn's disease can also affect fertility.
"The common misconception is that fertility is a woman's issue, but it happens just as frequently in men. This is why a couples-based solution is imperative," says Rosenwaks.
Goldstein said in earlier times their were no proper medical procedures to induce ovulation and no micro surgical techniques to unclog fallopian tubes in women or blocked ducts in men but now with the growth of medical technologies the couples have more options to get informed of their pregnancy stage and delivery processes.
The book also offers advice on, when to seek a medical help for both men and women.
