Does Breastfeeding Cause Saggy Breasts?
Blaming only breastfeeding for the problem of saggy breasts isn't fair say experts who have concluded that many other factors play a role.
Some mothers prefer formula feeding whereas some choose breastfeeding. What's the healthier option? Breastfeeding is surely healthy for the baby and the mother too.
Firstly, it strengthens the bond between the mother and the baby. And then breast milk is the most natural and nutritious source of food for the baby which is free of chemicals.

But breastfeeding is blamed for saggy breasts. But is it true that breastfeeding could sag the breasts?

A majority of women think that breastfeeding could sag the breasts. But experts say that breastfeeding cannot be the only reason behind sagging breasts. Many other factors could contribute to it.

Fact #2
A study claimed that no difference has been observed between two groups of women out of which one chose breast feeding and the other chose formula feeding. They concluded that firmness or lack of it isn't affected only by breastfeeding.

One observation of experts is that breastfeeding could also make the skin (on the chest) healthy.

Actually, pregnancy itself affects the breasts more than breastfeeding. During pregnancy, when the milk production starts, the size and shape of the breasts will undergo changes.

When there is weight gain, the ligaments which are near the breasts stretch a bit and this could cause the sag.

Even genetic factors have a role in the shape, size and firmness of your breasts.
