But it is important for women to understand that postpartum hair loss is just a phase and is not permanent. Today we will discuss on how women can get over with the postpartum hair loss. Take a look at these tips.
Tips For Recovering From Postpartum Hair Loss -
1. When the baby is born, the estrogen levels in the body change and the fall out of hair increases than it is usually in the resting period and will grow after the phase. So women need to stay calm and get engaged in other work rather than worrying about the loss.
2. Since it is not possible to stop the hair from falling out, trying different hairstyles will help.
3. Eating more vitamin rich food will enrich harmones thus ensure quick growth and minimise further hair loss.
4. Eating more of pregnancy supplements like prenatal vitamins can provide nutrients like Biotin, Silica, Calcium and Zinc. Food supplements like fish oil, fish, avocados, nuts and flaxseed oil are good for nails, hair and skin.
5. Do not wash and brush hair too often. Avoid combing wet hair during the time.
6. Massaging the scalp and follicles with a good hair oil will support good growth of hair.
7. Avoid applying hair gels, artificial colors, thick creams that may clog pores. Do not use too harsh shampoos as even chemicals can affect the grwoth of hair.
