How Group Learning Benefits Kids
A new study says that group learning benefits kids more than individual learning. When kids participate in group activities, they learn a lot about collaborative skills and social skills along with problem-solving skills in a more efficient way.

In fact, the study further says that kids who are into group activities may turn into better decision makers. On the contrary, kids who are into individual learning may tend to become passive gradually.

Child experts say that kids must engage more in collaborative activities in the school to make themselves better in certain necessary skills.
As a part of the study, researchers observed more than 700 kids and divided them into two groups. One group was given group learning activities whereas the other was given individual learning. The kids from the group learning section performed well in certain tests.

The objective of the researchers is to find a method that raises the awareness levels of the kids. Traditional learning methods may bore some kids or make them mug textbooks just to memorise answers.

But when most of the academic instruction happens through group activities, it would stimulate the minds of the kids and make them perceive education as an interesting activity than a boring task. This is why researchers urge schools to adapt interesting methods of teaching instead of normal and boring ways of instruction.
