Gift Your Kid With A Bicycle!
Cycling is good for health both for children as well as adults. In fact, after your kid reaches the age of 10, it is important to teach cycling for various reasons.
Playground Safety Tips For Kids
Firstly, its a good physical activity that works like an exercise. Secondly, your kid will learn the art of balancing on two wheels which would help later when he or she has to ride a bike as a grown up.
How To Console Your Crying Child
Also, physical coordination skills will improve when your kid keeps cycling daily to the school. So, how do you teach a child to ride a bicycle? Read on to know about a few tips.
How To Teach Your Child To Ride A Bicycle

Buy The Right Size
Today, bicycles are available in almost all sizes designed for various age groups and various requirements. Go to the store along with your kid and try various models and carefully choose one that suits your needs. Also, consider the growing age of your kid.

Buy The Necessary Accessories
Certain other accessories like children's cycling gloves, water bottle, helmet, and shoes are generally not provided along with the bicycle. You might need to buy them separately. Never ignore the importance of these accessories as they protect your child.

Choose A Park Or An Open Space
Go to a suitable place where the ground is even and spacious. It is better to start learning in even terrain as unevenness may pose various challenges. Also, ensure that the terrain doesn't hurt your kid even if he or she falls while learning.

Start Teaching
Be there with your kid during the initial stages. Hold the cycle and your kid when he starts learning. Firstly, teach how to handle the bike and move it around without riding it. Next, teach pedaling. Be very careful in the initial stages as over excited kids may try to move past the parents' hold and may lose balance. Until your kid finds his or her own balance, ensure that you hold the bicycle and run along with it when your kid sits on it.
After a few days, your kid will be able to do it alone. These are just a few tips. If you know of any, please share them with us.
