They are also known as pelvic muscle floor training and are quite easy to do. Kegel exercises have a lot of benefits, especially for women. Women’s pelvic floor undergoes a lot of strain and hence, it gets weakened a lot more quickly than men’s. The pelvic floor will get weakened during pregnancy and childbirth. It can also be weakened due to overweight or age.

Kegel exercises can be done during pregnancy or after childbirth. It can be used to control urinary incontinence and faecal incontinence. Women lose muscle mass after a certain age and kegel exercises help them keep their private parts strong and in shape. It is also helpful for women who have difficulty in reaching orgasm. Locate your muscles: Getting pregnant tips involving kegel exercises include locating your pelvic muscles. You can put one finger into the vagina and squeeze the muscles around it or contract the muscles without any abdomen movements.
The exercise: The actual kegel exercises to get pregnant are to simply contract your pelvic muscles without holding your breath or moving the abdomen or buttocks muscles. Contract for 5 seconds and relax for 10 seconds. Keep breathing normally.
During urination: You can also do kegel exercises to get pregnant while urinating. This involves in holding back the urine. This will help to strengthen the pelvic floor and prevent urinary incontinence, but do not over do it.
Repetition: You need to repeat the kegel exercises to get pregnant 10 times each time you do it. It is also best if you do it three times daily. These exercises will increase sexual pleasure for both you and your partner and increase your chances of conceiving.
Keep your focus: Remember to keep your focus during kegel exercises to get pregnant. Contract and relax only your pelvic muscles. Do not move the abdomen or buttock muscles and do not hold your breath.
As you progress: As you progress in doing kegel exercises to get pregnant, you should increase the time you hold the muscles contracted and decrease the relaxation time. You can also do it while standing up or sitting down.
Do not overdo it: Kegel exercises to get pregnant are not to be overdone as this will cause troubles during pregnancy. Your pelvic muscles need to be soft and supple and not hard and fit. If done too much during urination, it can cause infections as well.
