Is Almond Milk Good For Kids?
Some parents do prefer to add almond milk to their child's diet. One reason behind this could be lactose intolerance in children. Some kids may develop allergy to animal milk.
Now, let us discuss whether almond milk is good for kids. If your kid suffers from nut allergy, then even almond milk isn't recommended for your kid. So, first consult your doctor whether you can feed your kid with almond milk.

Generally, nut allergies could cause vomiting, diarrhea, cramps in the stomach, wheezing, cough, and stuffy nose, rash and so on. You might need to be very cautious as some nut allergies could lead to life-threatening conditions too.

And then kids do require some amount of fat in their diet for healthy growth. Almond milk fails to provide all the required nutrients for the kid's growth. Almonds are very nutritious but almond milk is predominantly water and contains fewer nutrients compared to almonds.

If you wish to add almond milk as an additional supplement then try it only after your baby crosses one and half years. Also, consult a doctor before doing so.

When it comes to the nutrition, it contains phosphorous, vitamin B, vitamin A, calcium and magnesium. Also, consuming a cup of this milk allows your kid get nearly 33% of recommend calcium level for a day.
