A new study claims that a parent's eating habits could influence the eating habits of the children. Yes, there could be a link between what you eat and what your kids eat. Therefore, it is better to carefully choose healthy food.

After studying more than 700 parents and their kids, researchers could understand how obesity starts. Most of the children who participated in the survey were between 6 and 12 years.

Researchers carefully studied the diet and other data related to the eating habits of both the parents and the kids and came to this conclusion.

The diet quality of parents seemed to affect the diet quality of the children as children naturally tend to choose what their parents eat.

Also, this study claims that currently many children all over the world are getting very few fruits and vegetables and too many empty calories that get stored as fat and serve no other purpose.

When parents wish to eat such foods, naturally their kids tend to eat such foods too. So, there must be a good change if health really matters.
