1.The crib you choose for your baby to be a sturdy one. The purchase of the crib more often than not happens before the birth of your baby. Usually, there is a lot excitement surrounding the ritual of buying the crib for your baby; more so if you are first-time parents. But your excitement should not cloud your judgment regarding your baby's crib safety.
2. Avoid fancy cribs that do not have a strong foothold. There are lots of cribs available in the market these days but not call of them will ensure your baby's safety in the crib. You may want to give your baby the most fancy crib assuming it to be the best one but that may not be the case. Traditionally designed cribs are often safe cribs as they are sturdier.

4. Do not buy cheap cribs. The crib is not one of those areas in which you can do cost cutting because it can lead to near fatal accidents. You certainly do not want to compromise on a safe crib for your baby.
5. You need to be naturally more vigilant with cribs when your baby begins to stand. If you have bought a crib with an adjustable height system then it must be kept as the lowest to prevent the baby from falling over the railings. In this case, your baby's crib safety is in your hands.
6. If your baby's crib has any drop down latches then they should be well out of the reach of the baby. If have to ensure that these latches are tightly held and not flimsy. They should not come off accidentally when your little one is up to some mischief.
If you keep the above mentioned baby safety tips in mind then you can ensure the safety of your child at home.
