Tarun Tahiliani's Collection At Bridal Fashion Week
Known for his glamorous creations that have been seen in the wardrobes of top Indian and global celebs, Tarun Tahiliani, The Czar of Couture, dazzled the audience on the opening day of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012.
Tarun, whose creations have revived the beauty of India's rich heritage, brought in his opulent touches for the bridal collection. Having created a sensation in the fashion capitals of the East and West, Tarun's impeccable construction and craftsmanship were the cynosure of his collection.

Presenting an utterly feminine line that had refined luxury combined with the grandeur of his embellishments, Tarun's collection was a dream to behold.

Old World Charm
Bringing in a hint of old world charm, there were glamorous shararas with kurtis as well as a few sari gowns in bridal colours.

The Elegant Bridal Wear For Men & Women
Men's wear was as ornate with bundgalas and sherwanis favoured by Tarun and teamed with churidars or comfortable dhotis.
The very innovative U shaped 70 ft ramp was turned into a virtual Garden of Eden with foliage, creepers and greenery swirling down from the ceiling and around the stage. Blue fairy lights twinkled around the ramp while models showcased Tarun Tahiliani's bridal collection at Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012.
The show opened with bare foot models in a glittering vision of tulle and silk for the most stunning lehengas and paneled long cholis. Scooped necks were sensuous while the paisleys and gorgeous embroidery twinkled under the ramp lights.
The presentation featured 41 creations inspired by the glamour of the 20s. The colours were ideal for enhancing the wedding mood. Red was the predominant colour while fuchsia, rani pink, deep saffron, ivory, pink, peach, beige, maroon and black appeared in perfect harmony in the bridal collection. Net saris with superb craftsmanship, self designed brocade maroon sarees with heavy crystal and sequined borders, long gleaming velvet appliqued covers with matching pants, peplum cholis, asymmetrical lehengas with churidars and sleeveless tunics over shot silk voluminous skirts were seen on the ramp.
The eye-catching slim mermaid gown kurta, the draped net sari and blouse, the gold net crystal splashed bridal creation and the crystal and lace were vibrant on the ramp. Bringing in a hint of old world charm there were glamorous shararas with kurtis as well as a few sari gowns in bridal colours.
Keyhole jackets contemporary anarkalis in juicy citrus shades with meshes of Swarovski Elements while thread work added to the beauty of the creations. Embellishments were lavish with zardozi, sequins, antique gold work, clusters of crystals and appliques which added to the beauty of the garments.
Men's wear was as ornate with bundgalas and sherwanis that were teamed with churidars or comfortable dhotis.

It was a great opening of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2012 with Tarun Tahiliani's ultimate collection for a bride to look her best on the most important day of her life.
