The Vivah exhibition took part in the national capital, displayed almost everything to meet the rising demands of the wedding costumes or apparels. The event was organised at Hotel Hyatt Regency between April 3-4. The colourful event encapsulated the varied facets of high style living. It also unfurled the wide spectrum of fashion and lifestyle goods.
The designers explain about the latest fashion trends, in the marriage attires. Girls generally opt for A-line Lehengas, as they make them look slimmer, says a designer about the bride tunics. For the grandeur look, bigger Lehengas help as they provide an elegant appeal.
"The colours and costumes are supposed to be very rich in the Indian wedding. India is a country famous for the best of fabrics. In a proper Indian wedding, we should wear something ethnic. It is an Indo-Western out fit proper for a reception, a traditional kind of war for a Mehndi and a western outfit for a cocktail," emphasizes Alka Suman, a famous fashion designer.
