The Weightlifter Who Dislocated His Elbow
Armenian weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan attempted to lift 195 kgs when this accident occurred. In the clean and jerk competition, he suffered from a horrifying extended elbow that caused his arm to bend in the wrong direction. The injury wrecked his chances of winning the medal in the competition.
