There are some human behaviors that science has not been able to explain completely. Human body has been completely studied by scientists and doctors, however, some things related to the human mind are not completely understood by them.

Scientists are not able to figure out completely why we dream, kiss, blush or get shy? Humans often can't control these emotions and they themselves don't know why they get shy or blush.
The feeling of helping others without expecting anything in return is also a trait of many humans and that aspect of human nature is worth praise and is applauded by others. Selflessness is not understood by scientists as since the ancient times competition and struggle to live is the norm.

Here are some aspects of human behavior that are still a mystery.

Shyness
Shyness may be genetic or it is due to the effect of the environment in which a person is raised and some personal experiences. It may be felt due to lack of comfort, meeting a stranger, applauding a person, public gatherings, speaking in public etc.

Picking your nose
A study has shown that one in four persons engage in the habit of picking nose almost four times a day. Some teenagers and children even ingest the ‘nasal detritus', which is unappealing and nauseating for others. The reason why teenagers do it has no answer in science.

Superstition
Many people believe in superstitious things that have no scientific proof. People may believe in some weird and unusual things that may bother others or even disturb their own life. Science has not been able to find out till date why people's minds believe in superstitious things.

Selflessness
Doing good for others is a part of human nature. Many people risk their own lives for other's welfare. All religions teach selflessness but people help others irrespective of their caste, creed and religion. Science has not been able to find out why human nature lets people help without expecting anything in return.

Kissing
It is the intimate feeling of love, affection, care, greeting, and passion. The act of pressing one's lips against another person reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol and increase the bonding. Why humans do this is a mystery.

Laughing
It is an involuntary reaction which occurs when a person sees something funny, listens to some humorous stories or when he is being tickled. Laughing has many health benefits. It treats constipation, increases life of the person and relieves stress.

Blushing
This involuntary reddening of a person's face may be due to embarrassment, feeling shy, getting nervous, anger, guilt and embarrassment. It can also be due to romantic stimulation and also due to lying. Blushing is a unique form of human expression that science has not been able to reason.

Dreams
Dreams are one of the most unusual things that humans experience duringsleep. Some say that people recall the day's emotions in sleep and see what they think or are concerned about. Dreams also have meanings and there are some experts who can predict the meaning of what subconscious minds see. Why we dream has a huge theory behind but scientifically it is not yet properly explained.
