In India, people greet each other in different ways. From a namaste, handshake to touching one's feet, there are some weird ways of greetings in India. The ways of greetings differ in each country and can be classified as weird forms of saying hello to each other.
Around the world, people generally opt for a hug or a quick peck on the cheek. Those who haven't seen each other for a long time often go in for a shoulder hug or a close and tighter one.

With A Hug
You can say hello with a hug. It is one of the most close ways of greeting. Though in some parts of the world, a hug may reveal too much of intimacy and hence, it is considered a weird form of greeting.
A Peck On The Cheek
A peck on the cheek is another weird form of greeting since not many would prefer the whole idea of a kiss from a stranger you just met or from someone who isn't that close.
The Shoulder Touch
You would generally see this weird form of greeting in colleges. The shoulder touch or the hug is common among the youth of today.
A Handshake
Handshake is considered weird in some parts of India as people believe in greeting people formally in a namaste. However, in urban India, the handshake is quite a trend.
The Fist Pump
After the shoulder hug, youngsters opt for the fist pump which can be painful, especially for the girls. It shows a cooler way of saying hello and greeting another.
Take A Bow
Taking a bow is one of the perfect ways to say hello although it is found weird by a handful of people across the world.
