In India, almost everything we do is unique and special in its own way. There are some habits which make Indians smarter and special compared to the rest of the world.

Marriages in India are made in heaven only if you wed on holy grounds or at auspicious timings. Abroad, it is the couple which is much more of an attraction than the venue.

Picking up a loved one or dropping them to the station is an important family affair. You will find the whole family at the station marking their presence to bid adieu to their loved ones.

Most Indians thrive on street food and guess what, they rarely get sick. This is one of the things that makes Indians unique.

Most Indian mothers have an alternate career in their life, which is 'matchmaking'. It is an alternate career for working woman and housewives as well.

In A Relationship

Every Indian teenage boy or girl is into secret relationship. They do not care about cheating partners, but dread over the fact of getting caught by each other's family.

On A Wedding Day

This is one of the most happiest days in one's life, but for an Indian bride it is the opposite. The bride must cry in her vidaai (send-off) or else she is considered to be shameless.

Family Honour

You need to touch your elders' feet whenever you see them. If you want to receive their blessing, all you need to do is touch their feet, a common honour or form of respect which makes Indians unique.

Strict Parents

No matter how old you are, Indian parents need to know every single detail of their children's schedule. What you get for breakfast at hostel, how far is office from accommodation, how are your roommates and colleagues... the questions are endless.
