Becoming rich is a dream that any common man has. The problem is that it always stays a dream and never materialises. You always look with envy at those who you call ‘are blessed with all the money’. The basic question is that why you are not becoming rich. There are millions of examples, where people have made money without inheriting them or winning the lottery.
Studies have shown that there are millions of potential millionaires. The most primary reason for this is that you are nursing a whole lot of bad habits and do not have a disciplined life. Studies have also shown that the reasons for not becoming rich is that you are making a few financial mistakes not to attain that wealth. Also, being wealthy can mean different things for different people.

There is only a very small percentage of people that depends on material possessions to call themselves wealthy. Most of them feel they are wealthy if they don’t have to worry till the next pay day. You don’t have to feel guilty. This is not only you but a good percentage of the world’s population do this on an average basis, thanks to credit cards. This is one of the main reasons for not becoming rich. All you need to do is to monitor your spending.
Bad Habits
This is a no brainer as to why you are not becoming rich. If you have something more important than saving your money, then, of course, your money will be directed in that direction rather than accumulating it. Change your ways, try and cut down on your bad habits and see your savings accumulate.
Not Saving Enough
One of the reasons you are not becoming rich is that you are not saving enough. Have a clear idea of your income and expenditure. This will give you a result of what you can save and how you need to save it.
Having Debts
Having debts that you do not clear regularly is another reason why you are not becoming rich. Debts can be a precursor to your financial success like buying a house or starting a business. This can lead to the fact that you are not becoming rich.
Too Much Fees
Paying fees can be one of the reasons for not becoming rich. If you are not careful, you could be spending a whole lot of money on this – late fees, banking fees, credit card fees to name a few. These can be very small insignificant amounts, but when you are paying them regularly, they wouldn't be insignificant any more.
Pass Free Money
This is one of the reasons why you are not becoming rich. Free money is everywhere, all you need to do is keep your eyes and ears open for them. Free money comes in different forms like participating in a retirement plan, reward points on your loyalty card, lowering your tax bill.
