When it comes to managing your pocket money or salary, definitely you will think of sharing it with your roommates. But, you may feel it difficult to take an initiative on this topic. It is not that much difficult if you have proper ideas and planning. Still not clear? Go through these simple ideas which makes you relaxed about sharing your bills with your roommates without any hesitation or conflict.
Ways to split your bills with your roommate:

Open discussion: Discuss your plan to share the living expenses that you all should face together. Describe and convince them about the difficulty they will face managing bills alone. You will definitely get a positive reply because sharing bills are relaxing for all those who want to have a control over their expenses.
Plot a plan: Decide about the categories of expenses you all will share. Remember to exclude personal bills like your expenses on beauty parlour visits, costumes or cosmetics. Fix on how you will split the bill. Be clear about the responsibilities of sharing in all the expected and unexpected situations.
Prepare a written contract: If you have roommates with enough humour sense, you can make a written agreement for your rules and implement fine for those who break it. Include all the categories you have planned to include in the sharing. This will help to avoid any conflicts later.
Record and display expenses: In most of the cases, divergence occurs within roommates on the issue of the reliability of the bill amount. This is more common if you are not sharing the money at exact time with strict deadline. In such cases, it is always better to display your expenses in your room after recording it clearly.
Exclude food expenses: Try to exclude food from your sharing categories because satiety is directly proportional to intimacy. Paying your roommates food bill will help you to maintain a good and positive relation.
Clear communication: Always maintain a hale and hearty communication with your roommate. If you wish to make a change in your planning schedule, talk about that with them. You should listen to them in such situations as well.
