Have you checked out the train on Google doodle? Today, 16th April is the 160th celebration of the Indian passenger train. The Google doodle in India has marked the 160th anniversary of the first passenger train journey with its creative doodle.
Though the history on this transportation goes back in 1932, the first commercial local passenger train was started in Mumbai, India on 16th April, 1853. India has the 4th largest railway network in the world. We all love and hate train journeys in their own ways. Annoying habits of train passengers:
Taking naps: Getting tired and taking naps in a running train is not just annoying at times but can be risky too. You might not realise when you miss your station while taking a nap. When the sleeping passenger falls on your shoulder, you feel really annoyed.
Snoring: This is one of the weird and annoying things that train passengers do. Snoring when you are trying to sleep can be really frustrating at times.
Playing loud music: If you want to listen to some rock music, make sure you are not disturbing the joyous train ride of others. You might love the music but most of them would hate it. Do not play loud music when you are traveling to avoid unwanted attention.
Spitting: This is one bad habit of people. Be it a passenger of a local train or a passer by, spitting on the road is really ugly and annoying.
Sticking to women: Few men take full opportunity of not missing a chance. A majority of women have complained that men try to stick to them intentionally and touch them on private parts.
Putting bags on the seat: You need a place to sit and you got it. Now why do you need your bag to grab a seat? Maintaining basic manners is something these annoying passengers should know.
Rushing out on the station: We all will get down and the train will also stop for sometime. So why rush and get out? You do not need to push ahead when the train is going to stop!
