The bird day doesn't only explain about exploitation of birds but also talks about how birds can be a source of inspiration to humans. The national bird day (January 5th) is marked as a holiday in the United States and was established in 1984 by Charles Babcock, the superintendent of schools in Pennsylvania.

On national bird day (January 5th) millions of adherents celebrate through studying birds, watching flight of birds, singing bird songs etc. Another very important aspect of the national bird day is the bird adoption. Also, the international migratory bird day is celebrated in the US and Canada in the month of May and in Latin American Countries in the month of October.
