Men Fear The Grey Head
As per the new UK survey , it is said that men are not that worried about the yellowing of teeth and the growing paunch, but they become very tensed about their hair greying and therefore start to panic. After a poll on their appearance, they said that going grey was their deepest and worse fear, hair loss and thinning of their hair came second, following with unwanted hair in the nose and the ears falling in the third place.
On being obese and having yellow teeth were the biggest and most considerate concern. At the age of 45 years the man actually sees himself ,as per the studies and its this time that the real discontent feeling sets in. Between the ages of 45 and 54 years of age there were four things of their appearance that the men disliked to an average of just one in ten men overall.
Mintel, the polling firm , that carried out this survey stated that, “ Although grey hair is traditionally seen as a mark of distinction in men, the reality is many men are unhappy with their newfound gravitas."
On men aging the natural way , Mintel had further added that, “The physical changes associated with ageing can act as a catalyst to mid-life crisis."
A man's happiness with their appearance is not helped by their disbelief in the claims that grooming products make. The physical changes associated with ageing can act as a catalyst to the mid life crisis. He said that,"Older men are significantly more likely than younger men to disregard a number of beauty and personal care products as being completely unnecessary and are also less content with the product results and the cynicism of older men extends not only to the claims that beauty products make, but also to a reluctance to try beauty services."
This shows that men become less content with their appearance after the age of 45 years.
