Happiness Hits Its Summit At 50

Although this is a surprising fact, according to the research held on the basis of a Gallup poll, it says that people are at the peak of happiness when they are 18 but it disappears, as the time pass. Later when they hit the age 50 they climb the mountain of happiness again.
"It is a very encouraging fact that we can expect to be happier in our early 80s than we were in our 20s," Andrew J. Oswald, who teaches psychology at Warwick Business School in England. He also added, “it is not being driven by things that happen in life. It is something very deep and quite human that seems to be driving this."
Arthur A. Stone, the lead author of the study said that the reason behind this happiness could be environmental changes or psychological changes, the outlook towards life and the world might change. It could be even biological changes, due to the endocrine changes or brain chemistry.
Although these reasons have been accounted to this happiness, a stable reason has not yet been found out. Researchers are still behind the 'special something' which emerges happiness during 50.
