This Kid Had A Rare Disease Of Bleeding Eyes
This boy suffered from a rare condition in which the boy's eyes bled and even protruded. This made it difficult for him to carry out his daily activities. Check the story of this little brave boy!

This is the story of a young boy from Assam named Sagar Dorji who is just 4 years old. His sufferings make us realise how lucky we are, as we do not suffer from any such condition and it also makes us realise what a strong little fighter this boy is!

He Had This Bizarre Condition...
He had 'Bilateral Proptosis' and was diagnosed with 'Acute Myeloid Leukemia'. In this condition, his eyes would pop out and it kept bleeding for a very long time.
His Story Went Viral
His story went viral in several social media sites, when the government stepped in to save the little boy from his sufferings. He was shifted to Bangalore for treatment.
His Condition Was Diagnosed...
The doctors at the Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre diagnosed the little boy with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, a type of blood cancer that affects the eyes to an extent. Doctors claimed that the condition rarely affects the eyes to this extent!
He Underwent Treatment...
He suffered from bilateral proptosis, which is also known as eye swelling and he had a loss of vision. He underwent treatment for 5 months before he finally recovered from this rare condition, in which he even suffered from Leukaemia.

His Sister Was His Saviour
His sister donated her bone marrow for his treatment. The boy has been really lucky, as according to the medical literature, there is only 30% chances of bone marrow matching between siblings.
He Is Now Cured!
There is no threat to the little boy's life anymore, as he has already undergone a successful BMT and is now discharged from the hospital. His parents are relieved to see their child smile again!
