His Early Life
He was born in Hong Kong and when he was a little boy, his parents moved to Australia to find new jobs. Young Chan was left behind to study in a boarding school. He was an energetic kid who used to always roll around.
He Studied Martial Arts
Chan failed in his first year of academics and he was later shifted to a boarding school where he studied martial arts, drama, acrobatics and singing for over 10 years and he was also subjected to learn stringent discipline that included corporal punishment for poor performance.
His Journey To The Land Of Cinema
He had started working as a child artist where he did many small roles in Chinese films. Later on, he started his journey as a stunt man for Bruce Lee's movies and became a regular stunt man for most of his movies.

After he became a successful stunt man, he realised he wanted to do something more in life. At a point, he even started working in adult movies where in one of the movies he even appeared nude.
The Other Professions That He Tried…
He tried all different professions to understand what he wanted to do in life. He worked as a construction worker and worked under a fellow builder named Jack, after which he was named 'Little Jack'.
His Work Was Finally Getting Recognised
One of the movie-makers contacted him after seeing his work as a stunt man and offered him a movie. And since then, his journey as a star that we know began, which is still going great. He became the first actor to introduce the action comedy genre, and in no time, he became the highest paid actor in 2 years' time.

With success coming his way, he even started producing movies and partnered with Hollywood's top production companies. Apart from this, he has even won the prestigious Oscar and other various awards.
