There are many places on the Earth that have been constantly changing; and in this chaos, there are many places that are forgotten or buried even, in which some of them were graveyards earlier!

The Washington Square Park, Manhattan, New York

This place was a hotbed for disease-infested bodies. The ground beneath the Washington Square Park was used to bury the people who had died of yellow fever. The space underwent a makeover, as it had more than 20,000 putrefying bodies that were left to nourish the greenery above.

Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana

The construction workers broke the ground in New Orleans to build the Superdome, and soon found bones that were remains of the Girod Street Cemetery, which is an old graveyard that was used to bury those who had died of yellow fever and cholera.

North Fulton Golf Course, Atlanta, Georgia

It's believed that the builders of the Course knew of the graveyard's existence when they started digging back in the 1930s. It is still a mystery as to why the builders chose to build a golf course over it.

Weccacoe Playground, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Bethel Burying Ground is a place where around 5000 African Americans were left to rest in peace. It was later abandoned, used as a dump and now it is currently a sacred ground that is home to a child's play-land. It also has a full-sized tennis court.

Shanghai Disney Resort, Shanghai, China

Disney's first foray into mainland China is one of the happiest places on Earth and the creepiest! According to sources, this place had hundreds of burial plots that were unearthed during the site's construction. The tombs of these places have been relocated and families of the deceased were given money to clear the place.

Lincoln Park, Chicago, Illinois

There were thousands of bodies once buried below the ground in this park. According to reports, around 80 bodies were unearthed when construction work commenced on the Lincoln Park's parking garage.

Crossrail’s Liverpool Street Station, London, UK

Workers dug into a 300-year-old graveyard, now believed to be the Bedlam Burial Ground. This place is famous for the most creepiest discovery of times, where the archaeologists unearthed a row of skulls, and a corpse that had its skull strategically placed between its legs, and a skull that had a gash in its crown in which a hefty blade was pierced into it.
